Soroptimist International of Metropolitan Sacramento (SIMS)
SIMS is a non-profit service organization of business and professional women who are working to improve the lives of women and children in the Sacramento community.
We focus on programs that lead to social and economic empowerment.
We invest our time by volunteering (which builds camaraderie toward a common purpose), by attending interesting meetings (in person and online), and by sharing social time, all of which builds a sisterhood. We invest our philanthropic dollars, together with community contributions, to the Community Assistance Fund (CAF) that provides grants to non-profit and educational organizations.
This Club is affiliated with Soroptimist International of the Americas. Soroptimist is a global women’s organization whose vision is that women and girls have the resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and live their dreams. Their mission is to provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. The name, Soroptimist, means “best for women.” The Club supports programs that benefit all children.
We just wanted to thank you again for generously donating to our organization. Your kindness uplifts the community and impacts so many lives! We are so thankful to have your support.
Sincerely, Wind Youth Services
